2005 Meow Mix Plush Cat Coin Bank w/Bag Whimsical Way Out Toys - Non-Working

Item: 2005 Meow Mix plush cat bank. Includes the original packaging bag.
Condition: Tested, bank does not make any noises. I do not see an area to change the batteries. The coin-access plug at the bottom is made of hard plastic, and one of the tabs has cracked off of it (visible in the last photo). There is a seam of the bag that has almost completely come apart (visible in second to last photo). Cat itself appears clean and undamaged (superficially).
