Antique All Composition Scarlett O'Hara Doll Ballgown 11" Tall RARE
Looks like Madame Alexander
Madame Alexander created the first Scarlett O'Hara doll before the Gone With the Wind movie.
This face looks like Madame's Wendy Ann face. It is beautifully hand painted
with stunning eyes, eyeshadow, lower lashes, and pursed red lips.
She has a black mohair wig set in long curls.
She wears an emerald green taffeta ballgown with a lace neckline,
and a flower and a mint green ribbon at waist.
Her right arm is slightly bent as "Wendy Ann" dolls are.
She wears pantaloons and her undergarment is highly starched to create a hoop.
Her ecru shoes have a buckle on top.
There are no markings.
There is one small crease in composition at bottom of chin.
This doll is in excellent condition
