This Antique Early American Cast Iron Mortar And Pestle, probably from early 19th Century.
Looks very old especially with the bottom stamping.
Super sturdy and heavy. It is marked "SK." and "3" on the bottom
as well as on the pestle.
Has wear but this is made to last!
This is a solid piece in great condition for its age with a lot of character!
A rare primitive display piece for a country kitchen or cottage:)
Sticker on bottom i can partially read, "endrick"... and "Boston"  maybe Hendrick?
