This is an ultra gorgeous vintage 5 color bakelite gavel -Incredible knurled, mottled shiney bakelite layers frame a wonderful solid top on a long turned solid yellow bakelite handle. All pieces pass simichrome test. Excellent estate condition....looks like it has lived its life in a bureau or display cabinet. Inscription as shown. Top measures 2 1/4" with 1 3/8" diameter ends.
