    Here are 99 different types of miniature masks apparently used as models for the makeup artist who would apply the actual face paint to the opera character. They are beautifully designed and painted.
    I have provided a closeup of a few of these small Chinese masks.
    Ten dimensions of the box is 17” x 5 1/4” and about an inch high.
    This is certainly an unusual collector’s item for anyone interested in Chinese historical pieces or opera itself!
