Description

Fine early 19th century Silesian/North Bohemian engraved beaker vase. The engraved panels actually have true amber glass overlay with was cut back and engraved on 3 panels featuring a hive of bees, an arrowed heart, and grape leaf and grapes. In between each panel are diamond cut ovals as shown. Just a little bit of work went into this. The top rim was probably polished.....but is excellent condition. No chips, no cracks. Even the base is ray/cut with smooth polished pontil. Very fine quality. About 4 5/8" tall and 3 5/8" diameter. Solid piece.
