This is quite beautiful and not too flashy. It could be used casually or for more formal/dressy events. It was appraised in 2014 by a Graduate Gemologist (GIA) in Texas as follows:

• Approximate weight is 8.36 carats total
• Color grade is medium purplish red
• Clarity grade us type II I
Accent Stones (diamonds):
• 152 round brilliant cut diamonds
• Approximate weight is .78 ct
• Average color grade is I-J
• Average clarity grade is S12-S13
