    I just purchased this vintage Czech / Bohemian style art glass vase from a local estate here in Central Virginia. The piece is characteristic of the cut back designs produced by the Egermann glassworks in Prague (Czech Republic). The ruby stained crystal is well executed with graceful curvilinear lines to the bell shaped bowl and domed foot. The hand cut engraving features grape vines, leaves and tendrils and shows very fine detail throughout. The vase measures 8 ½" high and 6 ½" across the polished top rim. The piece is in excellent condition with no damage. This handsome Grape Vine vase would make a fine addition to your collection of Egermann / Bohemian / Czech ruby stained cut back art glass.
