Sonja Henie Composition Doll Antique from 1930s

This rare and very popular doll from the early twentieth century is in very good condition given its age. She Is signed Madame Alexander Sonja Henie on the back of her scalp. One eye is crazed but both rotate normally. The hair in the back is slightly matted with some hair loss and her dress has no buttons or tags, but her timeless, lovely face is as beautiful as ever and she needs some tender care. For our younger fans Sonja Henie was an Olympic and World champion singles ice skater throughout the 1930s. She also was a film star and an international celebrity who was constantly in the news of the day.
She is 17 inches tall and weighs about 1 and a half pounds
